Title — Autumn Equinox: A Time for Balance and Gratitude
Topic — The autumn equinox is a time to honor life’s balance: joys and sorrows, growth and stasis, as well as our connections to our ancestors who have walked this path before us. Join Hayley Young and Wendy Bartlett for a morning of ritual, celebration, and remembrance.
🕯️ About the Service
Join us for a special off-site Autumn Equinox service led by Wendy Bartlett, as we reflect on the balance of the changing seasons and honor the gifts of community and abundance.
As part of the service, all are invited to participate in a Ritual of Gratitude by bringing a small seasonal item to contribute to a communal “cornucopia” display. We’ll gather these offerings—placed on a table or quilt—to symbolize our shared celebration of the season and what we’re thankful for.
You are welcome to bring:
🍎 Apples • 🍅 Tomatoes • 🎃 Pumpkins • 🌻 Flowers
🍁 Leaves • 🌽 Decorative corn • 🌾 Gourds • Stones
—or any other meaningful item that reflects your gratitude or connection to fall.
If you don’t have something to bring, extra apples will be available so everyone can take part.
Offerings will be placed during the ritual early in the service. Ushers can assist if you’d prefer to remain seated.
